In early 2018, former F1 World Champion Jody Scheckter approached Apex Circuit Design looking to design a new circuit on his property for CarFest, an annual car festival in aid of Children In Need The circuit has been designed to be fast and challenging, yet cost effective, using the existing 10m of elevation on the site to create an exciting drive.
Apex designed the circuit to allow for maximum space on the infield of the circuit for other event infrastructure and to maximise spectator viewing opportunities. The circuit allows the drivers to showcase the beauty and performance of the array of vehicles on display and are proud to have been involved in such a successful charity event.
Jody Scheckter commented: “I wanted to make the experience for drivers and visitors even better. Ross Brawn introduced me to Apex Circuit Design and they donated all their design work for the circuit.”
