In 2018 Apex were asked by Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps to develop designs for an FIA World Rallycross circuit that was befitting of one of the most iconic circuits in the World.

Following a number of visits to the site and the consideration of multiple locations around the historic F1 circuit, we provided a recommendation for the circuit to be located adjacent to the historic start/finish straight taking in Eau Rouge and Raidillon. This location combined with the largest banked corner on the FIA World Rallycross calendar and a return to a more traditional rallycross unsealed surface would prove to be popular.

Spectators and fans alike were blown away by the event instantly making the venue a rallycross classic. Apex are proud to be a part of this fantastic project for which concept, homologation and detailed design services were provided that contributed to its success.
