In July 2016, Apex Circuit Design were contracted by Grand Eastern Company Ltd (GEC) to provide design services for the exciting Chonburi Motor Park development, located in Sri Racha, Thailand. Our commission was "turn-key", allowing us to develop design information with our local and international partners for the project from the initial conceptual stages shown here, right through to the construction of the facility.

The development was designed to be spectator centric and provide unique, never before seen, viewing opportunities of the world class motorsport venue at its core. Encompassed by what was referred to as the "festival loop", the circuit is surrounded by a parkland that provides a setting for local street vendors that have been a vital part of the event atmosphere at major local racing events such as the Bangsaen Grand Prix.

Integral to the commercial success of the venue is the multifaceted development model that includes a number of automotive and non-automotive based developments aimed to attract local/international visitors and businesses to generate a 365 day a year footfall on site. These include a karting facility, rallycross track, driver experience centre, hotel, retail, bonded warehouse, team garages, sports stadia and a convention centre.

All in all, a world class venue befitting of a thriving motorsport and automotive industry.
