The 1.2 km Dubai Kartdrome, designed at the same time as the Dubai Autodrome, was completed in 2004 and homologated by the CIK with a Category A license. The circuit has been a tremendous commercial success and remains in almost continuous use, irrespective of the season. A favourite of locals, tourists and even some notable contemporary Formula One drivers, the Kartdrome has a unique, undulating and technically challenging layout which incorporates two separate 600m tracks and a crossover.

The Dubai Kartdrome is a model facility insofar it demonstrates that, with the right management and the right specification, quality and operational ease, an investment of US$8 million today can yield a capital pay back in under three years. The circuit features 17 corners to test a driver’s skills, as well as a tunnel and bridge to add to the excitement. This challenging configuration affords maximum safety to all drivers and spectators and is equipped with a complete set of flood lights to offer perfect viewing for night time racing.
