In 2025, Apex supported the development of a new FIA World Rallycross circuit at the KymiRing in Finland, a venue already renowned for being the first of it's kind in Finland. The objective was to create a rallycross layout that could complement the KymiRing’s international facilities while delivering the high-intensity racing spectacle that the FIA World Rallycross Championship demands.

Working in close collaboration with the venue team and its advisors, Apex developed the technical feasibility and secured the necessary motorsport approvals to integrate the event within the existing KymiRing complex. The design featured fast-flowing corners, a dramatic jump, a challenging joker lap, and a carefully balanced mix of sealed and unsealed surfaces — ensuring both driver challenge and maximum spectator excitement.

The first FIA World Rallycross event at the KymiRing took place in August 2025 and was met with enthusiastic acclaim from fans and competitors alike. The circuit delivered on its promise of action-packed racing and added another prestigious chapter to Finland’s long-standing motorsport legacy.
